Vortex Geo-Position and Bell Mobility has taken all necessary steps to ensure our customer's personal and location information is subject to strong privacy protection as established in the Canadian Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). This act outlines what steps must be taken to ensure :

• companies are responsible for personal information under their control
• express consent is obtained before using or disclosing their location information, and;
• customers are informed about the purposes for which personal information is being disclosed and/or collected and that collection of this information is limited to that which is necessary for the purposes identified;
• personal information is protected with the necessary security safeguards (i.e. data encryption, SSL or VPN connections);
• customers have options to address a challenge concerning compliance with PIPEDA.
